Week(s) of Insanity

Whew, we have had a whirlwind of activity around here since Elizabeth and I got home from Florida.  The day after we drove home, she started her "boot camp" swimming lessons at 7:30am every day for a week.  We are so glad that we found Coach Tom because he really is an amazing teacher (Google "Tom Bradbury method" for more info).  He is 80 years old and still going strong in the pool!

That same week, John had a work trip to Wichita.  Then we had our friends, the Reeves, come to visit for the weekend with their kids Elsie (3) and Grady (10 months).  The original idea behind the visit was to take the kids to the aquarium or the zoo, but we forgot until a few days before that the Final Four would be going on downtown.  We elected to avoid that mob scene and visit the local playground instead.

Speaking of the Final Four, I was able to get last minute tickets to the championship game last Monday.  A friend from work (who went to Michigan Law) went with me and we had a blast.  It obviously would have been even better to have won, but we were both so glad that we got to be there and experience a national championship game in person.  I also had a work trip to Charlotte this week, so I was really glad to be able to catch up on some sleep this weekend.

Elizabeth is finally interested in her balance bike and made great progress with it this weekend.
